How Assistant usage works: one new conversation counts as one search and can contain up to five follow-up questions. Failed, safety-rejected and unrelated requests do not use the successful-search allowance. Fair-use and safety limits still apply.

Your collection stays yours.

Can I import from MyAnimeList or AniList?

Yes. Collector accepts CSV exports from MyAnimeList and AniList through the same smart importer as ordinary collection spreadsheets. Tanko Vault detects the source automatically and asks you to review matches before importing.

Will a reading list become physical ownership?

No. Reading history from MyAnimeList or AniList stays reading history unless you explicitly confirm a physical edition. Tanko Vault will never silently mark those entries as owned.

Is Tanko Vault really free?

Yes. Creating an account costs $0, no credit card is required, and the Reader Vault remains free. Collector is entirely optional.

How does Vault Assistant work?

Both memberships can search by mood, identify a forgotten manga, ask catalogue questions and receive optional recommendations based on their Vault. Conversations are stored for 30 days and can be deleted sooner.

What happens if I cancel?

Your existing collection remains in Tanko Vault. You keep Collector access until the end of the paid period, then new owned additions pause until the Vault is within the free limit.

How do I manage payment?

Stripe handles checkout, renewals, receipts, payment-method updates and cancellation through its secure customer portal.
