Ryohei Arisu is doing his best to move on with his life after Borderland. He and Yuzuha have started a family together, and his job as a school counselor is meaningful and important—even if sometimes it feels like a struggle to make a difference. He’s come a long way since he was a disaffected young man sucked into a harrowing world of sadistic games. But while Arisu might think he’s put it all behind him, Borderland isn’t finished with him yet…Racing home to reach Yuzuha’s side in time for the birth of their first child, Arisu suddenly finds himself in an abandoned and overgrown Shibuya intersection. The situation feels eerily familiar, and Arisu soon realizes that he’s back in Borderland. But this time, the games are even more intense—and Arisu has even more to lose!
