THE TANUKI VERSUS FOX BATTLE BEGINS! To protect the tanuki living behind the illusions at Yashima from their attackers, their leader Tasaburo Tanuki III challenges the foxes alone. Meanwhile, Kabane and his friends finish their training with Fukuhime while on route to Yashima, where they see that Kaede and Akagi have joined together to become a giant fire fox. Wanting to repay the Yashima tanuki for all their help, including trusting him with their treasure, Kabane meets up with Kon, and together they head to battle.
