VOLUME SYNOPSIS

The Shavonne that Lewellyn knew is gone. The prison guard who would wipe his wounds, read him books, and feed him onions has vanished. In his place is a man who looks like Shavonne but couldn’t treat Lewellyn more differently. Each night, the guard’s personality changes like the seasons— he’ll angrily berate Lewellyn one day and smother him with kindness the next.
